Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern participation in the CDB Connect – Referral Rewardsprogramme (“the Programme”) offered by Cloud Design Box Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). By submitting a referral, you agree to these terms.
Who is eligible to refer?
• The Programme is open to existing Cloud Design Box customers with an active Silver, Gold or Platinum service agreement.
• Referrals must be submitted by an authorised representative of your organisation.
What is a qualifying referral?
A qualifying referral must:
• Be a new, unrelated organisation (not an existing Cloud Design Box customer, or a site within your wider group).
• Not have been a Cloud Design Box customer (organisation or individual from another organisation) within the last 12 months.
• Sign up for a Silver, Gold or Platinum service.
• Sign a purchase order or equivalent agreement and make payment for the first-year contract within 12 months of the referral submission.
• Not already be known to Cloud Design Box as an active prospect or in active sales discussions at the time the referral is submitted.
• Not be referred by another organisation previously, only the first complete referral submission received and validated will qualify for a reward.
• Not contract via a third-party reseller, procurement framework or partner where this conflicts with the Programme.
• Be a suitable fit for our services and not create a conflict of interest, as reasonably determined by Cloud Design Box.
Cloud Design Box reserves the right to verify eligibility and to accept or reject any referral at its sole discretion.
Referral process
• You must complete the official online referral form and then introduce your referral contact via email, copying in
referral@clouddesignbox.co.uk.
• An email template is available for you to use, should you wish.
• Failure to CC us on the introduction email will result in the referral not being tracked or approved.
Referral rewards for the referrer
• You will receive:
o A 5% discount off your next annual renewal invoice for your first successful referral.
o An additional 2.5% discount off your next annual renewal invoice for each subsequent successful referral.
o There is no limit, discounts can accrue up to a maximum of 100% off a single school’s next annual renewal fee.
• The discount will be applied to your next renewal invoice following confirmation of your referral’s purchase order.
• Discounts apply per successful referral, not per individual user licence.
Multi-site organisations and company groups
• If your organisation is a multi-site organisation such as a multi-academy trust (MAT) or equivalent with a single consolidated agreement covering multiple individual sites, any referral made by the head office or by a single site within the organisation will result in a discount that applies only to a single site’s share of the renewal fee, not to the organisation’s total group contract value.
• This ensures the referral benefit remains proportionate to the part of the organisation making the introduction.
Benefit for the referred organisation
• The referred organisation will receive a 5% discount on their first-year contract for a Silver, Gold or Platinum service.
• This discount will be applied to their first invoice only and is non-transferable.
Combining and applying discounts
• Referral discounts are non-transferable and apply only to your organisation’s next renewal invoice.
• If your organisation operates multiple sites within a group (such as a MAT), the discount will be applied to the renewal fee for the single school or site that made the referral.
• Discounts will not be applied retroactively to past invoices or carried forward beyond the next scheduled renewal period.
Timing and tracking
• We will confirm qualifying referrals in writing once the referred organisation has signed an agreement and made payment.
• It is your responsibility to ensure the introduction is made and CC’d correctly.
• We reserve the right to disqualify incomplete or incorrect submissions.
Exclusions
• Schools, departments or sites within the same legal entity or trust do not qualify as new referrals under this Programme.
• Only introductions resulting in a contract with a separate, unrelated organisation will qualify.
• Self-referrals or other attempts to circumvent the spirit of the Programme are prohibited.
Changes and termination
• Cloud Design Box may amend or terminate the Programme, or these Terms & Conditions, at any time.
• Any referrals submitted before termination or change will be honoured in line with the Terms & Conditions in force at the time of submission.
Fair use
• The Programme is intended for genuine introductions between separate organisations. We reserve the right to withhold or cancel rewards if we suspect fraud or abuse.
Governing law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
