Student Assignment Search
Quickly locate and manage student assignments across Microsoft Teams.
Student Assignment Search allows teachers, support staff and leaders to instantly search and view all assignments linked to a student, across subjects and classes, in one central place.
Automatically available for all teachers.
Assignment Analytics
Assignment Analytics allows you to search for a student and view all of their Microsoft Teams assignments. As a head of year or registration group teacher, you can use this tool to support students with their workload or quickly check the status of assignments.
Cover Manager
CDB Class Cover allows designated staff to assign a teacher to temporarily cover a class, granting the right level of access to content, assignments and resources during a specific time window.
With CDB Class Cover, you can avoid delays and creating unnecessary records in your MIS, giving pastoral leads, cover managers or data managers the power to act, without needing IT admin rights.

How to add the CDB Staff Toolbox Web Part to SharePoint
The CDB Staff Toolbox Web Part can be added to any SharePoint site on a CDB intranet.
- Head to the SharePoint site you wish to add the Web Part to and hit Edit in the top-right-hand corner.
- Choose where you wish to place the Web Part and hit the plus button (+).
- Select CDB Staff Toolbox. Use the search bar to save time finding the Web Part.
This will add the CDB Staff Toolbox Web Part to the site.
Note
This is only visible for staff in the school – you don’t need to worry about hiding it for students!
You can easily customise the CDB Staff Toolbox Web Part.
- Open Web Part Properties to toggle on and off the links you want to display.
- Choose from Student Assignment Search, Assignment Analytics, Cover Manager or Site and Team Creation.
