How to create a Team Site in SharePoint
- Access the CDB Portal and open the Sites tab.
- Select Team Site.
- Complete the form, including site name, owners and members, template (e.g., Standard, Staff PLC).
- Tap Save.
The site will appear in your global navigation (mega menu).

Check the audit log to track creation and site status.
How to create a Communication Site in SharePoint
- Access the CDB Portal and open the Sites tab.
- Select Communication Site.
- Fill out the site details, such as site name and assign permissions for Read, Edit/Design and Full Control.
- Choose from a selection of branded templates (e.g. HR Hub, Wellbeing, Policy Portal).
- Tap Save.
- The site will appear in your global navigation (mega menu).
