Reflect in Microsoft Teams helps teachers create check-ins for their students and gain insights into their wellbeing. In this article, we talk about the four Reflect tools students can use in Teams.
Microsoft Reflect is available for free in every class and staff Team.
Teachers can create quick and interactive “check-ins” for their classes, allowing you to monitor their wellbeing and empowering students to reflect and recognise their emotions.

We’ve previously talked about adding Reflect Check-In polls to Class Notebooks, and we also mentioned Reflect in our guide to creating Staff Notebooks.
Below are the four ways students can take a mindful moment about their learning and mental health.
Breathing Break – Reflect in Microsoft Teams
A guided breathing exercise with the Feelings Monster that allows students to follow along and pause the session at any time.

Stretch Break – Reflect in Microsoft Teams
A more physical two-minute break that students can customise with the option to toggle sound on or off.

Colouring Book – Reflect in Microsoft Teams
A creative activity lasting about five minutes, where students can choose a feeling, colour a corresponding picture, and reflect on their choices.
Memory Game – Reflect in Microsoft Teams
A cognitive activity where students match cards to find pairs, with a celebratory animation upon successful completion and an option to play again.
